We got the chance to film a fun and vibrant Dancehall workshop taught by Mily Luyana (for B-Center) in Annecy, France (Feb 2016).

Most dance class videos focus around the choreography and solo performance of the instructor at the end of the class but we felt that the energy of this class as a whole needed to be preserved. Everybody in attendance had a great time and the lively atmosphere was very easy to unobtrusively capture. There was so much laughter and playfulness that it felt like a group of friends coming together to have fun and dance (which is exactly what dance is about). So when we had the idea to break the choreography down into the multiple performances of the whole group; Mily agreed it was a great idea.
